​​​​​At St Columba's we aim to provide a whole school commitment to the effective learning and teaching of ALL.

This is achieved by the Learning Enhancement Team, comprising Support Teachers - Inclusive Education (ST-IE), and Guidance Officer.

Teaching, Administration & Support

• Structured assistance to those in need including one to one and small group assistance both in and out of the classroom

• Education and training for teachers, school officers & parents

• Helping children to achieve success in academic work (especially literacy & numeracy), as well as emotionally and socially

• Individual, class and whole school assessment

The school's Learning Enhancement Team is available to discuss aspects of children's learning which may be of concern and can suggest available options to enhance the educational opportunities for such children.
